The Dashboard is your command center for GPA Coach. Use it to manage your student connections, update school portal credentials, and customize exactly when and where your reports are sent.

Your Students

This section lists all students detected from your school portal. The status icon next to each name tells you their current connection state:
  • Green Check: The student is successfully linked. GPA Coach is actively monitoring their data.
  • Grey Minus: The student is not yet set up. If you do not want reports for this student, you can leave them in this state. To start generating reports, click Setup.
  • Red Warning: There is an error connecting to the student’s Learning Management System (usually an expired password). Click Fix to update their credentials.

Student Options

Click the three dots (⋮) menu on the right side of any linked student to access these actions:
  • Run Report Now: Generates a fresh report immediately and emails it to all recipients. Perfect for checking status before a big conversation.
  • Report History: View a log of previous reports sent for this student.
  • Update Credentials: Use this if the student’s LMS password has changed.
  • Unlink Student: Removes the connection and stops reports for this student.

Linked Portals

This section manages the connection to your school’s parent portal, such as Aeries or PowerSchool.
  • Update Credentials: If you change your parent portal password, update it here to ensure GPA Coach can still discover students.
  • Unlink: disconnects your account from the school entirely.

Report Configuration

Customize how and when you receive updates.
  • Schedule: Select specific days of the week and the exact time you want reports to arrive.
  • Recipients: Add email addresses for anyone else who needs to stay in the loop (e.g., partners, tutors, or the student themselves).
  • Pause Reports: Toggle this On to temporarily stop all reports (e.g., during summer break). Toggle Off to resume your normal schedule.
